For years Monterey Automotive Week has been one of the most popular yet exclusive gatherings of both exotic and collectible vehicles. During the event, which ran from August 15-19, Acura announced they have created an all-new RLX sedan as well as an ARX-05 prototype racecar.

Since teaming up with Roger Penske and Team Penske earlier this year, fans worldwide have been anticipating the release of the the ARX-05 which is finally set to hit the track for the Rolex 24 at Daytona in January 2018. In the meantime, let’s take a deeper look at the all-new 2018 Acura RLX.

With the brand wanting to move in the direction of Precision Crafted Performance, they have surely hit the mark with the 2018 Acura RLX. This luxury sports car is the most sophisticated sedan in the Acura lineup with performance and technology that is second to none. With a newly sculpted hood and better selection of wheels, this stunning sedan will prove its worth from the moment you get behind the wheel. With Sport Hybrid Super-Handling All-Wheel Drive technology, this sedan will drive like the NSX supercar but without the price tag.

In one trim of the new RLX, you can find 377 horsepower under the hood which comes from the beautiful direct-injected V6 engine. A whopping 10-speed automatic transmission make accelerating and handling a breeze. In addition to the great performance is the technology that comes standard in the RLX Sport Hybrid. New technology includes the premium Krell audio system, surround view camera, parking sensors, LED fog lights, remote engine start, ventilated and heated front seats, heated rear seats and steering wheel and more.
