Spring Fever is Here for March!
Acura has been making serious headway in the market in recent years, thanks to a strong reputation for quality and reliability. In 2018, the Acura of Fayetteville team welcomes the latest Acura NSX, ILX and MDX models. Here’s what we know about the new generation so far and be sure to visit us and check out our Spring Fever sales event!
First up is the Acura ILX compact sedan, available in 1.5-, 2.0-, and 2.4-liter l4 versions. With a sophisticated look and smart interior, this is an executive vehicle that projects the sort of stylish aesthetic for which Acura has become renowned.
There is more going on here than just good looks, however. Even the standard 1.5-liter version packs an impressive punch, and the handling is sportier and more responsive than is typical of a vehicle in this class.
With the new ILX, Acura is going for a work-hard-play-hard feel, and the ILX’s smart package is right on the money in this department.
Acura’s ever popular luxury crossover, the MDX, is back for another model year, and, yet again, it does not disappoint. The standard model comes with a 3.5-liter SOHC iVTEC engine, capable of 290 horsepower and 267 pound-feet of torque. This jumps to 321 and 289 respectively in the Sport-Hybrid version.
Available in both front-wheel and all-wheel drive models, the MDX is as versatile as it is powerful. It features the sort of handsome exterior styling and sharp interior finish that drivers expect from this iconic brand.
Last but certainly not least is the Acura NSX sports car, a stunning vehicle, both in terms of its looks and its handling on the road. The second iteration of the NSX is only two years old, and Acura is already going through the gears when it comes to development. This all-wheel drive supercar features all manner of technical magic to deliver incredible ride quality.
A twin turbo V6 with 3.5 liters of displacement achieves 500 horsepower, and that’s before the direct drive hybrid motor pushes this impressive power even further. Then, it can manage an impressive 547 horsepower, enough to carry all of its 3,803 pounds from a standing start to 60 miles per hour in 3 seconds flat.
With these three vehicles, 2018 could see Acura powering into a dominant position across a range of different markets. To experience these for yourself, get in touch with our team at Acura of Fayetteville today and book yourself a test drive.
