Trims

The Acura MDX comes in six trim levels

MDX
As the base model, the MDX sits on 19-inch wheels. It also has features such as a panoramic sunroof, heated front seats, and a nine-speaker audio system.

Technology
Building off the MDX trim, the Technology adds 20-inch wheels, leather upholstery, a navigation system, and a 12-speaker stereo.

A-Spec
 The A-Spec is a sportier model that has the same features as the Technology trim. This model also adds unique styling, a flat-bottom steering wheel, a cabin intercom, and a 16-speaker audio system.

Advance
Adding to the A-Spec's equipment, the Advance offers Roof rails, a hands-free liftgate, and upgraded leather upholstery. Also, heated second-row seats and a surround-view camera system are installed.

Type S
 This sport-oriented MDX is equipped similarly to the A-Spec. However, this model features the turbocharged 3.0-liter V6. This model also comes with sport-tuned adaptive air suspension, sport-tuned transmission, and AWD settings.

Type S Advance
 As the highest trim, the Type S Advance combines the Type S performance with the Advance's features. Also included are upgraded front seats with a massage function and a 25-speaker ELS Studio sound system.
